JOLIET – A California man is in custody after authorities seized nearly 200 pounds of cannabis and other paraphernalia during a traffic stop in Joliet on Monday. According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, 64-year-old Micheal Glenn Silliman was arrested after a traffic stop on I-80 in Joliet led to the discovery of 190 pounds of purported cannabis, over 6 grams of purported methamphetamine and a pipe. Silliman is being held at the Adult Detention Facility and is charged with Cannabis Trafficking; Manufacture/Delivery of Cannabis over 5000 grams; Possession of Cannabis over 5000 grams; Possession of Methamphetamine under 15 grams; and Possession of Drug Equipment.
