Princeton renames Darius Miller Park

PRINCETON – Darius Miller Park, named after a railroad executive who was born in the community in 1859, was renamed last week.  The Rotary Club of Princeton held a ceremony and announced not only park improvements, but the new name, Rotary Park.  Miller was president of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad and the Colorado and Southern Railway.  The park, adjacent to the Amtrak station, was donated to the city by the CB&Q Railroad after his death in 1914.
