SPRING VALLEY – Spring Valley’s Finance Committee will make action on Fire Chief Bogatitus’ request for more part time men, Wednesday night. After no resolution was made in a previous Finance meeting, Alderman Dave Pellegrini pushed to put the issue to rest tonight. Chief Bogatitus requested making the part time position paid to attract certified personnel that are necessary in operating trucks and responding to calls however, issues of financing still remain. Water and sewer, streets and alleys along with the legislative committee will also meet tonight. Plan commission will meet at 7 p.m. to consider the final plat for the proposed Dollar General Store.
