SPRING VALLEY – Spring Valley’s Public Works Department is running into road accessibility issues at the Cambridge lift station. At Monday night’s city council meeting, Superintendent Jeff Norton addressed the problem that he says is holding up repair work for the lift station. According to Norton, there’s only one access road to get heavy equipment into the lift station and its owned by Wozniak Concrete. He says Wozniak would let the city use the access road, if they allowed him a piece of property that was part of the original industrial park. City Engineer Mike Richetta says the property is in a grey area, and doesn’t know exactly who owns it. The property is located on the east side of Wozniak Concrete and west of Riverfront Machinery.
