Spring Valley’s Route 89 water and sewer extension begins soon

SPRING VALLEY – Spring Valley’s Route 89 water and sewer extension could begin in just a few weeks. On Monday night, city council awarded Universal Asphalt to take on the north side project for just over $174,000. City Engineer Mike Richetta says construction on the 500 feet of water and sewer must be done by December 20th, before the completion of the upcoming Dollar General. He says the project will last up to last 2 weeks, and anticipates a start by the first week of November.
