Dixon pair arrested on Methamphetamine charges

OGLESBY – A pair of women from Dixon are facing drug charges after an investigation by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team. TriDENT announced that on Monday evening they took 34-year-old Jessica M. Balma and 35-year-old Angelia M. Baker into custody in Oglesby on charges involving Methamphetamine. Balma was charged with Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and baker was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Baker was also wanted on a Lee County warrant for Failure to Appear for Possession of Methamphetamine. Both were taken to the LaSalle County Jail and are being held on $150,000 bonds each. TriDENT consists of LaSalle, Streator, Princeton, Oglesby, Mendota, and Ottawa Police Departments along with LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam County Sheriff’s Offices.
