Two fast food workers disable a railroad crossing to make their shift easier

Two employees of a fast food restaurant placed a device on the tracks of a railroad crossing to cause the crossing arms to malfunction in Pennsylvania.  They were attempting to have an easier night at work in hopes that the crossing arms would stay down and cause a blockage in traffic and people wouldn’t come to eat with them.  Instead, this disabled the arms entirely and someone could have driven over the tracks with no idea if a train was coming.
The man and woman involved were arrested and are facing charges for criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and causing or risking a catastrophe.
