Tri-DENT investigation leads to multiple charges for Ottawa man

OTTAWA – An Ottawa man is facing drug and weapon related charges after an investigation into narcotics activity in Ottawa. According to the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, 50-year-old Joseph Reynolds is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver , Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, and Unlawful Possession of Weapon by a Felon. Authorities say agents executed the search warrant in the 500 block of East Marquette Street and located purported cocaine, purported cannabis, currency suspected to be involved in the sale of narcotics, along with several items associated with the packaging and sale of narcotics. Reynolds was arrested on Thursday and transported to the LaSalle County Jail with bond set at $1 million dollars.
