PONTIAC – The Pontiac Public Library will be getting upgraded emergency doors thanks to a grant from State Librarian Jesse White. White announced that statewide nearly $900,000 will be awarded to libraries across the state to 18 libraries to help pay for improvements. Pontiac Library was awarded $15,000.
“I am pleased to award these grants to help maintain our public libraries so that they remain open and the best information resource available to residents,” said White.
