STREATOR – The Streator Shelter Me Kitty organization will be hosting a Feral Cat Trap Neuter Release event this coming Saturday in Pontiac. The program is designed to reduce the stray and feral cat population in Illinois by offering low cost spay and neuter procedures. Drop off will be 8:30 AM and pick up will be 4 PM at Interglobe Sire in Pontiac. The Feral or Colony cats must be transported in humane live traps covered by a blanket or towel. No cat carriers are allowed. They ask you do not feed the cats 12 hours prior to bringing them to the clinic. The cost will be $65 in the form of cash or money order.
